Scott Robin CBE	7/2/00	Robin Scott spent most of his working life in the BBC. He was the creator of Radio 1 and Radio 2. He was also Controller of BBC2 for five years and rose to be Deputy Managing Director of BBC Television. He died on February 7 aged 79
Shackleton Len	28/11/00	Len Shackleton, the Sunderland and England footballer died aged 78 on 28/11/2000. He was one of the outstanding postwar British footballers, with Stanley Matthews describing a goal he scored as the finest he saw in International football.
Tomlinson David	24/6/00	David Tomlinson, actor, was born on May 7, 1917. He died on June 24 aged 83. Famous for his role in Mary Poppins, the 1964 Disney classic that introduced into our vocabulary the  nonsense word "super-cali-fragilistic-expi-ali-docious".
